คงเป็นเรื่องเสียเวลา ไม่สะดวก และน่าเบื่อ หากต้องทำการทดสอบการทำงาน ในระหว่างการพัฒนาระบบใดระบบหนึ่ง

PHP ก็มี Unit testนะครับ  ลองดู project ดังต่อไปนี้ ไล่เรียงกันตามความนิยม

phpautotest has to be walked through your web-site once, it can then follow the same steps and report whether the pages did not work as expected.

ดูเหมือนว่า เกือบทั้งหมด ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจาก JUnit มามากทีเดียว ส่วน PHPUnit นั้น port มาจาก JUnit เต็มๆ เลย
