     'C - - -l (ship of the desert) (คำที่หายไปคือ “a” และ “m” และ “e”)
     ‘He swore softly, “- -  -- - it”’ (คำที่ขาดคือ “d” และ “a” และ “m” และ “n”

Would the use of _ (underscore) be more common in this case?
