"Please convey my regards back to your associates." may be a courtesy reply to 'regards sent the associates' (of the messenger). In this case 'back' is not 'redundant' but a 'return in kind' (return with something of the same kind -- regards --).
Without 'back' (Please convey my regards to your associates.) The speaker is the first/originator to send 'regards' (or 'respects' 'ความเคารพ/นับถือ') to the associates.
