Abstract
This study was a participatory action research for capacity buildingofcommunityto manage social capital has been implemented in Ban Tung Laem Bua community ofNakornchaisri District Nakhon Pathom Province. The objectives of this study were 1) To collect anddevelop knowledge contained in the individual. And in the community of the study area ; about social capital at work as a group, organization, network, partners cooperation. 2)To strengthen the ability of communities to manage social capital in terms ofnetwork partners cooperation based on sufficiency economy philosophy. Data for this study were obtained by using participant observation, focus group,brainstorming and in-depth interview with 32 key-informants; The sample used in this study was the leader of the board and a member of the group and organization in community. Usingcontent analysis that emphasizes on data collection and additional analysis and coding according to the process of the grounded theory were applied.The results of this study shows that 1)Ban Tung Laem Bua community integration as much as 16 community organizations.The community can create social capital in the form of a support network of partners help each other directly.From the phenomena that occur in the project Potential Development Center </a>ofBan Tung Laem Bua community. Members of the center. The relationship is in the form of a caring network. Help support Dependence based on the concept of sufficiency economy. And are trying to build networks, both internal and external networks, such as working with Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat Universityand Office ofThe Non-Formal and Informal Education.2)Ban Tung Laem Bua community has the ability tomanage social capitalprocess in terms ofnetwork partners cooperation based on sufficiency economy philosophy. For example the leader of the board and a member of the groups have collaborated to plan community. They participate in making plans for the community and support the following capital (1) social capital used for human development to support educationand support the role of religious institutions by opening a development center to be trained.(2) The connection in capital is caused by using the potential development center ofthe community considered as a driving force which helps people have learn life-sufficient and self reliant
