Who says "You Can't Take It with You"?
My grandfather hated to spend money. He was very cheap. Every week puts at least 25 percent of his paycheck under his mattress. He didn't trust banks. The day before he died, made his wife promise to put the money in his coffin with him. He wanted to buy his way into heaven. My grand mother promised to do as he requested. The next morning she took about $37,000 to the bank. Then deposited it into her account. After that, wrote a check for $37,000. She put the check in my grandfather's coffin. She is very smart.

Thanks for such a funny story of a smart grandmother .I believe that the grandfather would be proud of his wife' s win-win idea.
Seven days after the death my grandfather comes to see my grand mother again in her dream. He says angrily to my grand mother that "Bring my money back. The Prince of Devils didn't want cheque"

I agree, the grandmother is such a smart person.
This story gave me some thought about problem solving in patient's living will too.
As P'Yai said, there might be a "win-win" way ( Keep both trust and reality).
An old man lived alone in Ireland. He wanted to dig his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison for bank robbery. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his predicament. Shortly, he received this reply, "For HEAVEN'S SAKE Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the Money!" At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen policemen showed up and dug up the entire garden, without finding any money. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asking him what to do next. His son's reply was: "Now plant your potatoes, Dad. It's the best I could do from here."
