Note on my research topic of interest

Research topic of interest
I just want to note that after I read Pedro's introduction I have an idea that I should set up a journey of my own to discover some topic in my mind. I should do it like a hobby, that is usually more serious than they real job.

One topic popped up while I was showing this morning. It is a topic about 'Institutions, collective actions, and knowledge sharing activities'. The case study would be the knowledge network such as gotoknow.org or learners.in.th or something like that.

Another topic I'm thinking of is about the "possibility of making of Buddhist Economics". I'm not quite sure if we can really create the "Buddhist Economics" because there are many questions to be answered. However, I think it's worth finding the answers because it could lead to the new era for economics and the world as a whole. I already have a title of my thesis or a book about this, it would be entitled "Buddhist Economics: Implication of Buddism on economics science and economy"... It sounds cool, I think.

Another topic is about the sufficiency economy philosophy (SEP). The SEP is mentioned too many times in Thai society without the common understanding. Although NESDB have produced a discourse of SEP many years ago but that is only on the philosophical level, the principle level. However, among economist, there are still unfinished debate on theoretical ground of SEP. If we can really make it solid enough on theoretical issue, it could have been a great impact on the society. Nevertheless, one problem of doing this research is that almost all of the documents needed for this topic are in Thailand, so if I'm gonna do the Ph.D. on this topic, I should probably go back and do this topic in Thailand or something... !?.. Or one idea is to ask for advice from prof. Apichai Pantasen, the specialist on SEP, where I should pursue my Ph.D. if I'm interested in this topic.

Actually the last idea is quite interesting because that opens the new path for my study. I mean, I might not have to pursue the Ph.D. here at EIPE. But I'm very sure that the knowledge I've got from EIPE will benefit my research for sure, for both latter topics. Andd It should be great if I could really find the right person who can be my supervisor on these topics, with recommendations from prof. Apichai.

For the time being, I have to make sure that my result of Research Master will be good enough for me to pursue Ph.D. anywhere else. Otherwise, I'm done. So, from now on, my routine has to be changed into the form that fit with the study. I have to put all of my effort on the study, this hobbies, and the music.

However, hoping for the best result could be painful when the expectation is not met. Only thing I can do is to make sure that I put 100% effort on what I aim for.

ทำเรื่อง Sufficiency Economy ให้สนุก น่าจะต้องมีมิติของการเปรียบเทียบปรัชญานี้กับฐานคิดและรูปแบบการจัดสรรทรัพยากรของปรัชญาอื่นๆ ทั้งปรัชญาตะวันออก และตะวันตก ...เก็บประเด็นการจัดสรรทรัพยากรไว้บ้างเพื่อให้เกี่ยวข้องกับเศรษฐศาสตร์
