There are 3 massive bodies of water: one is moving from the North, one is the rising tides in the Gulf of Thailand and another is from the coming rains. I don't know why we don't have strong warnings to these facts. For your information see:

Typhoons in the Pacific ocean, Southwest monsoon in the Indian ocean, rising sea level, tides and sea swells can combine and become majors problems for Thailand.
