นิทานเรื่องสิงโตกับแพะ

ในฤดูร้อนที่อบอ้าววันหนึ่ง สิงโตและแพะต่างกระหายน้ำ จนเดินมาพบกันที่แอ่งน้ำเล็กๆ แห่งหนึ่ง ทั้งสองแย่งกันกินน้ำ จนเกิดทะเลาะ และต่อสู้กันขึ้น ในที่สุดทั้งสิงโตและแพะก็เหนื่อยหอบด้วยกันทั้งคู่ ในขณะที่นอนหมดแรงอยู่นั้น เจ้าสิงโตก็มองเห็นฝูงแร้งกำลังบินคอยท่าอยู่ มันจึงพูดขึ้นว่า “เราควรแบ่งน้ำกันกิน ดีกว่าต่อสู้กันจนตาย แล้วกลายเป็นอาหารของแร้งนะ” เจ้าแพะเห็นด้วยกับสิงโต ทั้งสองจึงแบ่งน้ำกันกินแต่โดยดี

นิทานเรื่องนี้สอนให้รู้ว่า : แบ่งผลประโยชน์กัน ดีกว่าต้องสูญเสียทั้งหมด

The Lion And The Goat

One humid day in the summer, a lion and a goat were dying of thirst and they also met with a same small swimming pool, they began fighting for the water. They fought and became really tired. While they laid down for a rest, the lion saw vultures were flying circle around in the sky and said “I think we better compromise and share the water or we keep fighting until one loses and becomes their food.” The goat agreed with the lion and at the end, they share water to drink.

Moral of the story: Share something better than lose everything.
