Floating Garden: Reverse Threshold Model Theory

It was conclude that the best choice for all is RTMT.
Floating Garden: Reverse Threshold Model Theory Faarungsang, S.1, Abstract Reverse Threshold Model Theory (RTMT) to solve most problems was introduced (Faarungsang, 2010a). In 2011, Thailand has serious problem on flooding. Several farmers cannot continue their work on flooding. Floating garden may solve their problems. Objectives of this investigation are 1. to dig out RTMT efficiency compare to conventional method, 2. to review RTMT presented at several conferences since 2009 up to 2012 and 3. to provide flooding solution in Thailand via floating garden. Yard long bean (Vigna sesquipedalis) was applied on the floating garden to study if it can be lived and gave us sufficient products under flooding conditions or not. The floating garden was modified and constructed follow methods given by Santi Asoke at home number 1/1169 in Kasetsart university at Kamphangsaen campus. Twenty sample was drawn from the floating garden and compared to simulated data drawn from Matvec (Wang, 1990). Efficiency of RTMT was measured using Matvec and R under 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100% data distortion. Length of yard long bean is used instead of weight because it was easier to be measured and it was more robust to maturity of it. From computer simulation of data at 10 fold and 100 fold, it was found that RTMT is faster in detection on the different between floating garden and no garden. Also it was more robust because it was verified in the earlier work that RTMT can be 100 percent elimination of random error (Faarungsang, 2010b). Furthermore, RTMT has several advantages above conventional concepts and proposed to be applied to most research in horticulture. Discussions on applications of RTMT were given. It was conclude that the best choice for all is RTMT. Keywords : reverse, threshold, simulation, conventional
