อ่านกลอน 2 บทนี้แล้วชอบใจมากๆ เอามาฝากชาวอนุทินให้ได้ยิ้มๆไปด้วยค่ะ เป็นของ  The illustrator and humorist Gelett Burgess (1866-1951)

ชิ้นแรกชื่อ The Purple Cow:

I never saw a purple cow,
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.

กลอนบทนี้ดังมากๆ แล้วต่อมาเขาก็เขียน palinode โดยอ้างถึงกลอนบทนี้ขึ้นมา

Confession: and a Portrait, Too,
Upon a Background that I Rue!
Oh, yes, I wrote 'The Purple Cow,'
I'm sorry now I wrote it!
But I can tell you anyhow,
