Greenland (Greenlandic: Kalaallit Nunaat, pronounced [kalaːɬːit nʉnaːt]; Danish: Grønland, pronounced [ˈkʁɶnˌlænˀ]) is an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. Greenland is not an empty land (populated by indigenous peoples and later settlers - Eskimo, Inuit, Saqqaq, Dorset, Thule, Norse, …), has its own languages and cultures.
