I read https://scitechdaily.com/new-research-shows-men-and-women-need-different-breakfasts-for-weight-loss/ . It reports “..men’s metabolisms respond better on average to a meal laden with high carbohydrates like oats and grains after fasting for several hours, while women are better served by a meal with a higher percentage of fat, such as omelettes and avocados..”.
In summary “men benefit from carbs and women from fats (at breakfast)”.
[The report doesn’t go into the ‘vice versa’ –that is carbs breakfast harmful to women and fats breakfast harmful to men . Could carbs and fats breakfast be shared by men and women?]
This seems at odds with tradition or family practice where same breakfast is prepared for everyone in the family (unless there are strong circumstances for exceptions).
Do family members still eat breakfast together? Do family members still have scheduled daily activities?
