Thai PBS TV Sunday Jul21, 2024 Late News interviews a woman fisher about the price (3 - 6 Baht/kg) for ‘blackchin tilapia’ she has got from a fisher trader operating in her area. The official price as announced by the Minister of Agriculture is 15 Baht/kg. The fish trader claimed 2 Baht/kg for administrative cost.

Thai PBS shows a lack of concerns for retribution for the fisher woman by showing her full face for nearly 1 minute . But, the fish trader nor the location is not shown at all. So, a victim may become a victim again. And the Ministry of Agriculture can contemplate their effective anti-tilapia campaign again. We can safely bet that the trader will claim 15 Baht/kg from the ministry .
