How the Buddha Teaches Dhamma
(from Digital Pali Reader: Daily Buddha Vacana - 14 April 2012)

When the good Gotama teaches Dhamma to an assembly in a park he does not exalt them or disparage them.  On the contrary, he delights, uplifts, inspires, and gladdens that assembly with talk on Dhamma.  The sound of the good Gotama’s voice has eight qualities.  It is distinct and intelligible, sweet and audible, fluent and clear, deep and resonant.  Therefore, when he teaches the assembly, his voice does not go beyond that assembly.  After being delighted, uplifted, inspired and gladdened with talk on Dhamma, the audience rise from their seats and depart reluctantly, keeping their eyes upon him.

สวัสดี(อีกปี) คนถางทาง

We often seek a model for doing things from Western theories. Many teaching models from the West when boiled down and unseasoned are often just what the Buddha did 2600 years ago.

The Buddha teaching model covers execution style too, not to hot, not to cold, ... just right!

Let us meditate on this for a while -- I am anyway ;-)
