Last Sunday we have met with Khun Pittaya and it ‘s pleasure to learn new things about Japnese culture but time is too short, hopefully we can meet with him to lecture us about Latin America’s experience very soon..

There are true and complied with the book that Dr.Chira recommended us to read. The Japanese people are respect in seniority , when they have a new project the employee ‘ll submit “Ringi” to superior until top mangement and it’s a good for employee that he think he is participant of the company but sometime become weakness.
The weakness is “Slowness” , the world are fast and continue moving on, the solowy response could make opportuniy lost , cost increasing and make new project become unefficiency.
Basically, Japanese employee are hard working and like to receive a praise among colleague and with high expectation. We can see that they are tried to improve machine performance by incresing of machine capacity, if you can do that ofcourse you are the winner. But if not, it become pressure!
The Industrial Safety and Helth Law there trying to protect employee from mental distress by set up counseling sessions with doctors for employee who put in 100 hours or more of overtime per month, and take action to improve their helth based on the doctors recommendations.
The record of suicide show that more than 30,000 people kill themselves each year in Japan., bestowing the country with the shameful honor of the highest suicide rate in the developed world. It’s seriously for government and there are so many associations to defense suicide such as International Association for Suicide Prevention, Life Link ,Tokyo English Life Line, Inochi no Denwa, Karoshi Hotline, MDA-Japan.
So, I get one point of difference between Japanese and Thai is :
“Japanese employee get mental distress and suicide cause of their work too hard but Thai are from unemploy.”
