Ummmh, I wonder how hospitals are going to handle emergency ASEAN patients.

The would have perfectly legal id dico but unfortunately not accepted by hospitals outside their own country. It would be a sore issue for all hospitals in any country ASEAN or not.

So, E-government clould may need to work out links to other goverment authorities in order to verify ids quickly. This has implications in other areas for security and access to public services.
