Similes in English : การอุปมาเปรียบเทียบ

ในภาษาไทยเราก็มีนะ การเปรียบเทียบ เช่น เค็มเหมือนเกลือ ขาวเหมือนไข่ต้ม แดงเหมือนลูกตำลึงสุก ฯลฯ

 ลองทาย.......ลองเดา.......คำเปรียบเทียบ  Similes  เหล่านี้ดูสิคะ

as playful as a kitten...............ขี้เล่นเหมือนลูกแมว

as clear as a crystal..............ใสสะอาดเหมือนคริสตัล

as poor as a church mouse...........จนเหมือนหนูในโบสถ์

as white as a sheet.............ขาวเหมือนกระดาษ

as simple as ABC..............ง่ายเหมือนท่อง ABC

as quick as lightning............เร็วเหมือนแสงสว่าง

as brave as a lion..............กล้าเหมือนสิงห์โต

as pretty as a  picture............สวยเหมือนภาพวาด

as black as night............ดำเหมือนกลางคืน

as gentle as a lamb.................สุภาพเหมือนลูกแกะ

as deaf as a door pod...............เงียบเหมือน.....กระสวย

as slow as a snail.............ช้าเหมือนหอย

as good as gold............ดีเหมือนทองคำ
