สมาคมนักกิจกรรมบำบัด/อาชีวบำบัดแห่งประเทศไทย มอบหมายให้อาจารย์ ดร. ศุภลักษณ์ เข็มทอง สำรวจความต้องการของนักกิจกรรมบำบัดไทยในการเข้าศึกษาต่อเนื่องเพื่อรับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพกิจกรรมบำบัดเฉพาะทาง โดยใช้เวลาการศึกษา 3-6 เดือน แบบพิเศษ 3 วิธี คือ

1. วิธีซื้อคู่มือและทำรายงานส่งสมาคมฯ จำนวน 3 วิชา (วิชาละ 1,000 บาท) และจัดทำรายงานวิจัยทางคลินิก 1 เรื่อง เพื่อส่งให้คณะกรรมการประเมินผลจำนวน 3 ท่าน (ค่าจัดส่งคณะกรรมการรวม 500 บาท)

2. วิธีลงทะเบียนอบรมและฝึกปฏิบัติการกับสมาคมฯ  และนำเสนอรายงานวิจัยและรับการประเมินผลในวันอบรม (ค่าอบรมและสมัครสอบปากเปล่า 5,000 บาท)

3. วิธีซื้อคู่มือและทำรายงานส่งสมาคมฯ จำนวน 3 วิชา (วิชาละ 1,000) และจัดทำวิดิทัศน์แสดงเทคนิกหรือรูปแบบการฝึกคลินิกเฉพาะทางในกรณีตัวอย่างที่น่าสนใจ เพื่อส่งให้คณะกรรมการประเมินผลจำนวน 3 ท่าน (ค่าจัดส่งคณะกรรมการรวม 500 บาท)

วิชาหลัก 3 วิชา ได้แก่ 1) Program Evaluation 2) Health Research Methods และ 3) Clinical Reasoning

สำหรับเรื่องการทำวิจัยหรือวิดิทัศน์เพื่อนำเสนอนั้น ให้นักกิจกรรมบำบัดเลือกความเชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะที่ตนเองสนใจจาก 6 ด้าน ได้แก่

1) Hand Specialist 2) Neurological Specialist 3) Pediatric Specialist 4) Ageing Specialist 5) Psychosocial Specialist และ 6) School Specialist

PROGRAM EVALUATION

Open to occupational therapists, this course covers the key issues involved in undertaking program evaluation. This will be a knowledge and skill development course that will cover such topics as: the purpose and rationale for evaluation; models of evaluation with an emphasis on collaborative (client-centred) approaches; types(process & outcome, summative & formative); stages and ethical issues.

Health Research Methods

This course is to produce OTs with research methods skills that enable them to “push the boundaries of knowledge in the OT specialty of interest” relevant to improving clinical practice (including medical education research), strengthening health systems and enhancing population health.

Clinical Reasoning

This course will deeply enhance OTs for their fieldwork experiences of interest area. Professional behavior, personal success strategies, and professional success strategies will be utilized in this course. Clinical reasoning will focus on procedural, interactive, conditional, and pragmatic reasoning.
