กาลามสูตร (อีกครั้ง) -- เมื่อไรจะสอนนักเรียน?

I read another post on Gaalaamasutta in G2K today. Again the power and insight of this sutta elevate me. I think this sutta should be included in 'school curricula'.

Another part of this sutta (and as in many other suttas) is the 'repetition' (coded by the use of ' ไปยาล   ฯ   ฯลฯ   peyyaala'). Repetition is a key to practicing Buddhism. We have to do good things not once (as in Western 'success') but over and over (till it becomes 'habit' to do good things). Each time we repeat (the process loop), we also collect data, review conditions, and consider possible options/possibilities, before we commit our resources (including energy and time).

This aspect of the Buddha's Teachings can be considered a foundational tenet for modern scientific processes. (Not 'how Buddhism compares well with Science' But 'how Science follows Buddhism' ;-)
